Southeast Mallorca has ideal conditions for scuba diving. The place is usually called the Calmness Coast because of the tranquillity of its sea. Being an island, isolation and distance protects its water from pollution coming in from the rivers and sewers of the continent. This fact allows the Island to have one of the cleanest and clearest waters of the Mediterranean Sea, bringing every year thousands of divers.More than 40 Dive Centres around the island gives a lot of job opportunities for Diving Instructors.

Choosing the correct Course Director and PADI 5 Star IDC Centre, probably is the most important decision before entering the dive business as a professional instructor. ZOEA Mallorca´s team has several Staff Instructors (Spanish, German, and British) that give the quality and experience you need as an Instructor candidate.
The Instructor Development Course (IDC) can be divided in two parts: Assistant Instructor Course (AI) and Open Water Scuba Instructor Course (OWSI). This way you can become an Instructor directly from Divemaster or first become a AI and then a OWSI. For those who are Instructors from other Scuba Training Organization for a crossover you only need to do the OWSI course. In any case passing a Instructor Examination conducted by PADI staff is always required.

This course is designed for you to learn. Do not be afraid this course has too much information that can make you think you are not prepared. ZOEA Mallorca has a very high level of success due to our dedication and responsibility because we think that to become a PADI Instructor you only need to want it, the rest is our job.
